Brief
I was challenged to take all the provided assets and creating a new, fully rendered car animation to pitch to the client. This involves ensuring the model looks photorealistic in any lighting environment, building a functional rig for the car, and producing realistic animation with proper timing and weight. I must also organize the scene with clean layout and composition, set up visually appealing and realistic lighting, and finally polish the rendered frames in compositing to deliver a professional, client-ready result.
The Car
Before moving on to animation and simulation, it is important to set up the usd file and variant to make the process procedural and convenient.

Animation and Simulation
Animation without simulation
I started by rigging the car and created an animation without the sims. This gives a nice start of the whole project, once the animation is settled, the focus shift to the simulation.
Animation with simulation
Even though the simulation is calculated, the way it is applied is still tricky. I learned how to adjust the secondaries to make the sims look more realistic.
